All products we produce are in strict compliance with GMP.

Four of our products have been approved by FDA U.S.A. (Sulfamethazine, Trimethoprim, Sulfamethoxazole, Sulfamethazine Sodium), and another four have been registered with the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines. (Sulfadimidine, Trimethoprim, Sulfamethoxazole, Sulfadiazine).

PKU INTERNATIONAL HEALTHCARE GROUP PKUCARE SOUTHWEST PHARMACEUTICALS was originally named SouthWest Synthetic Pharmaceutical Factory. It is currently the biggest manufacturing, research and development and exporting base of pharmaceutical in West China . Established in 1965, it has been listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 1997 (with code 000788). Its biggest shareholder is the SouthWest Synthetic Pharmaceutical (Group) Company (47.31%). In 2003, Beijing University ’s Founder Group invested RMB300Million and now controls 70% shares of Synthetic Pharmaceutical (Group) Company.

Manufacture Base

There are two major pharmaceutical production bases. Within these two bases, there are numerous production workshops which manufacture more than a thousand tons of bulk pharmaceuticals, with production lines of tablets, capsule, powder for injection, aqueous injection and granule preparation.

Products

The factories manufacture twelve types of drugs including sulfas, antipyretic & analgesics drug, vitamins, antibiotics, quilonones, anticancer drug, antiulcer drug, antianxity drug, antihypertension drug, heart and brain blood vessel drug, antihistamines, antiemetic. There are at least one hundred types of bulk pharmaceuticals and preparations.

Quality Control

Quality is the extremely important in the production of our products. To improve the products quality, we established and perfected the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) system. There are more than 200 personnel engaged in quality control. The in-house standard, established by our enterprise, is higher than the national or international standard.

Research & Development (R&D)

There is a R&D center which includes a synthetic pharmaceutical institute, preparation institute and health products institute with 500 special technicians. They are doing new products research, new products marketing and new technology and advanced production process development. Many of our senior engineers enjoy government perks and allowances. Several of our scientific research obtained the national “ 5.1” labor medal and national labor medal.

We have many sales offices throughout China . Besides, our sales network encompasses USA , Europe, Japan and Southeast Asia .
